This weekend was great. Sat was totally Mahjong-domination day. Started at my mom's friend's place with people around my age because we were so bored while the elders were busy chatting. Omg, they were all experts!?!?! I don't quite get the version they were playing but I still managed to win one out of the four games we had.Anyway, I don't understand why parents like to drag their kids to gatherings of theirs because we're certainly bored to stiff there and have to answer repeated questions like "Which school are you from?", "Oooh you're taking your O'levels this year yeah, which JC are you aiming for?" etc. I refused to give an answer for the latter because I honestly do not have any plans yet and the whole JC thing just seems so far away. My dad says I can opt for poly if it's going to be too stressful for me in JC. Hahaha how many parents actually say that to their kids? Go dad!!! You're my saving grace haha.
Okay back to the mahjong topic, so went to my cousin's place after that for steamboat and mahjong again till late!!! Mahjong's fun okay but I can only manage the simplified version well enough. :)
Went out to have satay and stingray for dinner on Sunday!!! Yum, it was super good!!! :)
I don't know if it's a miracle but the sleepy disease didn't knock on my door today and I actually found SS interesting. In Sec 3 it was used to be about government systems and policies etc which was hell of a boring. But it's like story-telling time now, maybe because this is the first lesson in which I stayed wide awake for two full periods.
War is cruel when the lives of innocent people become the consequence of it. In the end, neither of the fighting parties will suffer the greatest unjustice, it will be the people.
