Some say love it is a river
that drowns the tender reed
Some say love it is a razor
that leaves your soul to bleed

Some say love it is a hunger
an endless aching need
I say love it is a flower
and you its only seed

It's the heart afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance
It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
who cannot seem to give
and the soul afraid of dying that never learns to live

When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed
that with the sun's love
in the spring
becomes the rose

Bubblegumpop is fun to listen but once the trend is over, people will get over it. Good music stays in your heart, in your memory even after many years have passed. :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This week has been rather eventful till now so I've decided to blog even though there's a whole list of work due tomorrow waiting for me.

We served CWO today. Weeding is kinda fun but the algae is gross. And I guess I was wrong about Mrs.Chia, she's a nice form teacher after all. She wanted to serve with us but apparently teachers weren't allowed as they will appear as a bad example.

Yes, I do realize that we're living in a communist environment even though it's claimed to be diplomatic on the outside. Appearances are deceiving. Haha, you must be proud of me for paying attention during SS.

Yesterday was the Pure Lit London Trip interview. I totally screwed it up so I won't be surprised if I don't get to go. Firstly, I didn't tuck in my shirt and the interviewer was from the DC. Next, she was clearly taken aback when I told her I haven't gotten any demerits when asked if I had any discipline problems.

"Even for your attire?"
"No."
"You must have been very lucky then."

"Because Lit is one of my fav. subjects."
"Oh really? You only scored a C5 for Mid-Years."

Yes, I screwed up Mid-years with that C5. But it is the truth that Lit is one of my fav. subj and just because I didn't do well for one major exam, I'm being doubt of loving it. I've got nothing to say.

It's not that I want to clinch the opportunity badly but I hate it when people doubt me. There's no need to stoop so low, and I won't. For sure. Haha Elmo knows this best. I won't be dissapointed even if I'm not given this chance because London is not my dream holiday destination and I'm not interested in the English Leauge. The only things that appeal to me are the visit to Oxford and the thought of going overseas with friends for the first time. But I'm afraid that if I don't get through MJ's gonna kill me. Haha! :)

I'm looking forward more to going to Hokkaido even though it's still tentative. I want my Shiroi Koibito. Or maybe Gold Coast would be fun as well since I haven't visted Aust for quite a number of years. I hope my cousins will be joining us for this year's trip.

P.S. Don't worry Elmo, I'll make sure you'll be boarding the plane to New York with my long shopping list. :)
P.P.S Get well soon Lisa!

Okay that's all for now. Off to work on my E-Math, A-Math, SS and Physics. I guess I need a good deal of luck and determination with that for they're all due tomorrow. God bless.
