月牙泉
Initially, we selected this song called 月牙灣 for our Chinese project and Laoshi told us that the significance of the "moon" in that song refers to this lake in China (see above). The place closest to the moon? The fascinating work of Mother Nature. It's a pity we don't get to learn about these interesting formations in Geography. It is said that the lake never dries up even though it's located in a desert.
OBS shopping was quite fruitful today, got most of the stuff, but I haven't started packing yet. I think I will be getting a haversack tmr if we're allowed to use our own bags. Thanks My for the lifts these two days. :D
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
(In Mom's fav color) I love you mummy. Sorry that the present is gonna be belated unless I'm able to get it tmr. :D Celebration at Long Beach just now with all the "mummies", haha. My aunt was super elated because her *ahem* future daughter-in-law *ahem* baked her a cake, "To Mom, with love". Well..
